I'm happy to report that I've found a very refreshing new spot.

These days, you can't swing a cat by the tail without clawing into one of those horrible, mass produced sites which trys to pass off a cheaply purchased collection of second rate performances by well known names as amateur entertainment.

When I discovered The Guy Site, I found myself faced with a sort of scary shirtless guy and a tagline which reads "A variety of guys in high quality movies and still photos. Always original." Talk about setting the proverbial "narrative hook" - it's a combination which will immediately get me to drop a note to the site's owner, and perhaps even peek at the tour pages while awaiting an answer.

This tagline is truly on target: Here are a wide variety of "guy next door" types, presented by an attractive, very easy to use website.

I enjoyed quite a few of the guys. Those I didn't simply remind me that My Way was a Frank Sinatra hit - not something I should expect when I'm seeking the sort of diversity found in genuine "indy" site situations.

The Guy Site is "man driven" instead of "clip driven," which means that links to videos are included in the guys' galleries - making them much easier to find. The photo and video quality are high overall; the "no-tell motel" episodes reflect the fact that you can't drag a lot of lighting equipment into your local fleabag.

My final comment relates to the path this site is following. Conversing with the owner, I've learned that his first priority is bringing in fresh guys, and that his second priority is keeping the site in a state of constant improvement. He's concentrating his time and resources on that which truly counts, instead of bloating things up with snazzier navigation buttons, useless plugin content, or any of those unnecessary evils.

I had never heard of The Guy Site until Rotten Ray stumbled upon it and suggested we review it - proving true the old saw about how even a blind hog will be able to find a juicy acorn once in a while.

At first, I thought it was an amateur submission site until I saw the video clips. It's not a submission site - it's a true "indy" site that features amateur first time guys of all body types filmed by an amateur photographer.

I am tainted because I review sites for listing every day with a wide variety of the quality of models, and photography. Like many of you, I go apeshit over the pretty, built boys with big dicks. They are nice at which to gaze, but I am a realist. They are not very attainable most of the time. The guys here are basic every day guys that you would see anywhere - out at the bar, at the grocery store, in the park, oops, am I mentioning all cruising areas? While there are some that are not really my type, I would jump in the sack or the back of a car or behind a bush, oops, cruising areas again, with many of them. And the fantasy of having sex with any of them seems quite accomplishable which peaks my interest. Not too many primp and preen their crotches before the shoot, so you get to see them au natural which adds to the amateur flavor of the site.

If you are going to execute an amateur site honestly, you cannot have Bianchi shooting guys in his studio. He could even make me look like a cover model.

Yikes!

The photography and videography here is clearly in the amateur zone, but I think it adds to the flavor of the site. There could be some improvement in the lighting where there are pretty obvious shadows. The editing of some of the videos have some rough spots. Rather than using hotel rooms most of the time for the shoots, I would have liked to have seen other settings where you find average guys.

The Guy Site is free of upsells, gimmicks and other distractions. Due to a busy server at the time of review, video files took a little extra time to download, but this does not weigh against the site; it is obviously in a growth mode, which means it will be fun to watch for a nice period of time.
