That said, I found Papi very exciting indeed!

The premise is simple enough: Get a bunch of attractive and willing guys together, and film what happens. You'll find settings ranging from raves to house parties to pool parties, with the odd boat ride and a few Gay parades thrown in for good measure. You'll find action ranging from the simple "hookup at the bar" to public sex in clubs to orgiastic pool party couplings...

The photography is good, with huge photosets (200 to 400 images each) with a nice selection - instead of a lot of nearly identical shots.

The videos are long, and obviously shot with high end equipment.

When speaking of technique, you'll find that a lot of the scenes are shot hand-held, and at times the photographer seems to be either part of the action or so close to it that you get the old "live news report" feel - occassional jarring and sudden movement as the camera has to quickly move to accomodate the performers when they move.

It might take you a little while to get used to the off camera coaching during the set ups for the action, but the action itself is more or less unperturbed.

The "plotting and pacing" of the videos could be a little more succinct; in some of the episodes the action doesn't start until you're well into the video. Impatient types might find themselves tempted to "scrub" (fast-forward using the navigation thumb) while viewing to get right to the meat of the meal.

But then again, the premise is "here's what happens on Boys' Nite Out," so I find these long build ups a bit enticing. And it's certainly an approach unique unto itself. Most sites that offer up this type of fare tend to cut from the guys shaking hands to the first blowjob far too early.

The only thing that mars the experience are the upsells - other sites and a personals site which isn't part of the Papi site itself are shamelessly promoted.

When do reality sites give you too much reality?

When you watch a streaming movie entitled Long Time Cumming. The movie starts with guys and a token drag queen at a bar drinking and partying. Some dance, though most are arhythmic. 13 minutes into the movie, several shirts come off. At 14:31, we see a butt shot followed by the first dick shot at 14:59. At 15:10, a guy gets his dick lapped once. More dancing, more prancing, more drinking including the cameraman who has difficulty keeping the camera level. I fix a cup of tea, have a cigarette, answer the telephone and talk with a friend while my bf watches for me. I miss absolutely nothing. At 38:38 into the movie, two guys leave the party, go to the room and have sex. Oh, did I forget! It suddenly went from night to full daylight in the time it took to walk down a small hallway. The second movie I watch finally has sex beginning about 5 minutes into the movie, after some dick and butt shots and guys stripping naked before that. If I had to do it over again, I would skip the first clip or two and watch the last two clips and eliminate the senseless drivel in the first half of the movies. Come on , porn is not like hunting where you should use everything you shoot.

OK, before I unleash more frustration, let me say that I liked the fact that there are very extensive galleries for each movie on the site. I am impressed that the latest movies are offered in full streaming, large movie clips or mini-minute clips depending on your Internet connection. The earlier movies do not have the large streaming movie, but that will be offered later for them also.

The guys on this site are basic every day Latinos for the most part. As with the cornucopia of guys I see out at local bars, you pretty much get the same on this site. I am disappointed because the guys attending the party that I would love to see have sex are not the ones that do. The tease me then freeze me approach left me cold. The sex is hot with some nice scenes between amateurs. However, I saw no orgies and nary a threesome in the movies that I previewed, which I had expected from this site. What's the purpose of the parties then? A tax write-off while you party with friends and film a little sex afterwards?

The photos are good quality, but I am not impressed with the quality nor script of the videos. In one scene I viewed as a guy was being blown, the camera angle made me feel as though I lick the screen I could taste his balls. That was an exception. For most, if I drank three or four healthy scotch rocks to the point that I could barely stand, grabbed my mini-cam and filmed Rotten Ray (you know how drunk I'd have to be), the quality of the video would be better- less jerky, more focused and more tuned into the action. Worse, as cameraman, I would not be making stupid distracting comments, giving the guys having sex directions or having a camera click and flash in the background throughout.

The only things which detract from Papi are upsells to other websites, a personals link which presented a page full of women to the reviewers, and some well worn canned webcam content.
