In the Grande Scheme of things, I'll have to honestly say that there are other sites which do the same thing DIXter does, and stepping on the very heel of that remark comes this: DIXter - a new site - seems to have started with the idea of doing these things right.

When you combine handsome "guy next door" types, an elegant website design, and quality media, you just can't miss.

I'm normally "photocentric" - I tend to enjoy good stills more than I do video streams - but I have to remark on the video quality at DIXter.

When starting this review, I looked at the very first video, the most recent, and... er, well several in the middle.

The media quality itself is above average; high end equipment and lighting are evident and the editing is clean and basic. While there are other outfits producing larger, crisper streams none of them have caught on to the idea that watching a video and, er... enjoying it... is a very intimate thing indeed.

That's where DIXter really shines. After a brief interview, the guys spend quality time being themselves. The "meat and potatoes" part of the show is filmed with a steady hand, unobtrusively - when the cock's out and strutting, there is no one behind the scenes trying to show how clever they can be. Just you and the guy (or guys).

Here's a bit of a warning, along with a bit of a chastisement: In this modern era, we've all begun to confuse quantity with quality. As of this writing, DIXter produces an update twice a month. There are a plethora of sites which update more frequently - but as someone who knows the biz, I'll tell you up front that sites which update at a break-neck pace usually spew a lot of overburden around the few jems they present.

Take a look at the sample pix below, and if that's the kind of man you like, then DIXter is a spot-on win.

Here's my take on DIXter.

DIXter is a relatively new site that features amateur guys either in solo or action videos. Unlike other sites where the term amateur is synonymous with less than attractive men, the men of DIXter are above average on the bell curve of looks.

While I enjoyed the variety of videos that I viewed, some of the "performances" definitely let you know that you not viewing polished performers, so the site meets its mission of convincing me these are true amateurs.

Having said that, I viewed several videos that had my tainted dick stiff and ready to send my assistant Michael home and jump my boyfriend on the floor of the office.

Beyond that, the performers use such a variety of fucking positions that I felt an urge to grab the Ben-Gay and warm up my trusty old heating pad - to soothe my vicariously stretched muscles.

For most of the models, a photo shoot and screen caps are included in rather large galleries. The screen caps provide a nice overview of the video itself. The photography in the photo sets is above average and the screen caps are better than I have seen at most other sites; obviously a lot of care and knowledge goes into the production.

The videos are well photographed. The angles and perspectives employed to capture the action make you feel that you are in the room during the performance. The performers feel up close and personal. Overall the quality of the videos is excellent. I found nothing to distract me and could focus on the performance.

In fact, I viewed most of the videos that I screened in their entirety because they captivated my attention, and know this, Gentle Reader - that doesn't happen every time I review a site's goodies.

DIXter made me 

Although DIXter is a new site (in web terms) it has already established a respectable philosophy - there are no upsells, and no "seen a million times" canned content feeds as a suppliment to the site's content. The emphasis is clearly on quality and orginality.
