BadPuppy is truly one of the few Gay adult megasites that has survived and thrived. It purports to being the oldest Gay adult site on the Internet.

According to Lisa Turner, Marketing and Advertising Manager for the site, it was established "in the early 1990's as a BBS, back before what the Internet is today. On May 17, 1995, we went live as a membership site. It had a very nice following already [from the BBS] and became very popular in a short period of time."

Turner describes it as "a melting pot of just about every type of content one could ever want." A quick look at both the preview and the members' area proves this description to be true.

Upon my visit to BadPuppy, I was immediately struck by the fact that it updates daily. I am particularly struck by the number of feedback opportunities that members have to rate the content.

Once inside the members' area, I really have difficulty deciding what I want to view first. I feel like the proverbial "kid in a candy store."

With 4 new models every week, what you'll find at BadPuppy is a sort of like the weather in Denver: If you don't like it, wait a bit and it will change.

It's a very lovable place to visit, and considering its sheer volume - more than 1,400 galleries and about 5,000 videos, currently - it's a great entertainment deal.

Something I truly like about the site is how the guys are presented. As an example, the photo galleries are "face driven" - as you surf the gallery pages, you're peeking at "mugshots, and have simply to pick a face that lights your wick and go from there.

Another appealing characteristic is freshness; most sites this age come off a bit dusty and seem to be stuck in a rut. BadPuppy remains enticing and exotic due to constant improvement and new features, and they've managed to pull this off in a way which has continuity for existing members.

I strongly recommend stocking up on pecker-wipes, and try and plan your first visit so that you have enough "quality time" in which to enjoy your introduction!

BadPuppy covers the full range of guys - every ethnicity and body type, from 18 to about 35 years old.

Along with regular updates, BadPuppy also provides a huge library of contributing websites. Although the individual quality of these sites varies greatly, the fact that there are about 100 of them at any particular moment means you'll probably find something enteraining.

Also included is access to most of the major Newsgroups, a library of about 40 webcam feeds, galleries where members can post photos of themselves, and a nice selection of chat rooms.

BadPuppy provides members with images up to 1280w x 960h, which are from film or digital still cameras. The overall quality of the images and the photography is high.
Video Quality -
BadPuppy provides members with video streams in Windows Media, MPEG and iPod formats. Some of the early videos may not be available in every format, and the video sections could be a bit better organized. No DRM Bullshit!
Ease of Navigation -
The navigation scheme of the BadPuppy website sets the baseline for what an adult site should be. This place is huge but very well laid-out and has no broken links.

BadPuppy's great strength is being able to bring in all kinds of guys from all kinds of studios, in virtually every flavor anyone could want. Value-adding features are 24/7 support (including a toll-free telephone number), legendary customer service, and a staff which truly listens to member comments.

BadPuppy will appeal to guys who seek variety.

If you're the sort who has a stout preference for a certain age group or a certain body type, it will still be a good deal - it could take you several months to work your way through what's online right now.

However, if your main interest is video and you prefer seeing video presented with matching photosets, you might not be satisfied with BadPuppy's video library; although there are thousands of videos, not every video has a matching photoset.
